Privacy Policy

1. Information We Do Not Collect

SlipZap is a client-side web application. All calculations, PDF generation, and document creation happen entirely in your browser. The following data is never sent to any server:

• Your name, employee ID, or any personal identifiers
• Your company name or address
• Salary, CTC, or any financial figures you enter
• PAN number, bank account, or UAN
• Any information entered into our calculators or letter generators

2. Information We Do Collect

2.1 Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use SlipZap. This collects anonymous, aggregated data such as pages visited, time spent, browser type, and approximate location (city level). No personally identifiable information is collected. You can opt out using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

2.2 Advertising

SlipZap uses Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google may use cookies to show you relevant ads based on your browsing history. We do not control the data Google collects for advertising purposes. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.

2.3 Local browser storage

SlipZap stores certain data in your browser's localStorage (not our servers) for features like slip history. This data stays on your device and is deleted when you clear your browser data. We do not collect, transmit, or have access to this data.

SlipZap itself does not set any cookies. Our advertising partner Google AdSense may set cookies for ad personalisation. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings or via Google's Ad Settings.

SlipZap is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@slipzap.in.

6. Data Retention

Since we do not store salary or personal data, there is nothing to delete. If you believe we hold any data about you and wish it removed, send a request to privacy@slipzap.in and we will respond within 30 days.

7. Your Rights

Under applicable Indian and international data protection laws, you have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you. Since we hold almost no personal data, most requests are resolved immediately. Contact us at privacy@slipzap.in.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of SlipZap after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
